The empty studios at the Academy have always fascinated me. Yet, nothing was quite like the sculpture classrooms. Without people, all those unfinished models and plaster casts resemble ghosts when draped by the fabrics. Ghosts of something yet to be made - a true creators’ lab. The unimaginable number of tools, details, and objects fill the room with history and aura. Unfinished models, samples, and attempts at world-building in various stages create a unique atmosphere one can only experience in the abandoned halls of the Academy of Sculpture.

It was with this painting that this series of artworks began.
