Once upon a time, when I was getting my education, we used chemicals, film, and a lot of auxiliary equipment… This was long before the digital age, in the analog era. Our darkrooms did not resemble hospital rooms. They were filled with objects that made up a photographer's life and were tools of their trade. Wooden tripods, jars of chemicals, cabinets with interchangeable lenses, drapes, costumes for models - everything bore the imprint of the master's personality.
